There are a great number of options available, depending on your finances, the wheels 'n tires you use and just how serious you want to get with track racing your Pantera. 1st step: add ventillated 0.810" thick rotors to your stock calipers & discard the stock non-adjustable proportioning valve. This will allow full pressure to the front & rear calipers which should stay as 2 separate circuits. Aftermarket racing pads by Porterfield in So-Cal work well. If thats not enough, since you're not too far away- 2nd step: add GP-3 or -4 factory brakes (huge 3-piston Girling calipers & 1.25" thick x 11-1/2" dia rotors). And if that don't stop good enough, you'll have to go to 17" dia wheels, then add 13"dia x 1.25" rotors and 6-piston NASCAR brakes from one of the usual Pantera suppliers (PI has several options on their web page, for example). For wide 17" alloy wheels, big wide sticky tires & giant brakes with all the trimmings, allow about $8000 USD.
