How can I tell if my front suspension components and half shafts are stock.
My rear half shafts have greasable u joints and the outer portion of the half shaft is a goldish color while the inner portion is silver.
My front control arms (upper and lower) have ball joints that bolt in. The upper ones have zerks while the lowers don't.
The tie rods are mounted to the control arm from the top. on the steering rack diagram on Chuck Melton's website it appears the tie rods are mounted from the bottom.
None of the parts look new but they all look very good and everything is tight. All of the rubber boots look very good (not what I expected on a 30 year old car.
Any help would be appreciated.
