What is the key difference between the Timma fuse block and the one that Pantera-Electronics sells?

Bob Timma was one of the very first to come up with an updated fuse box (which also included some relays). He took, IIRC, a Toyota box and made it work in our cars. It involved jumper wires and a new mounting system. For the time, it was a good option if your stock box was becoming a problem.

Next in line Larry Stock of Pantera Parts Connection came up with the stock box with new ATO fuse blocks added to it, and then held in place with a liquid epoxy. No new outputs, just new fuse holders. Of course, it was the OEM case, so it required no wiring changes.

Jon came later with a purpose-designed new unit designed to fit in the stock location and requiring no jumper wires. (Note: My install did need two wires to be lengthened - the window motor wires that are fused in a small, separate fuse box).

I have Jon's installed in 2511. I highly recommend it.

Larry
