Don't know about glass fuses, there are a couple kits out there that use the plastic "blade" type fuses including the one I used which is Bob Timma's (very happy with it)and one vendor that converts a stock pantera fuse block into one that uses the plastic fuses. Check out Chuck Melton's website, I think he did a comparison
Joe, you are welcome and welcome to the Pantera community! There are many, many topics covered in this forum so it doesn't hurt to do a search first. That way the question you had may already be answered and you don't have to wait for an answer. There are other valuable websites with lots of free info about the cars. Check out Mike Dailey's The Pantera Place located at http://www.panteraplace.com/
or Chuck Melton's website located at http://www.geocities.com/provamo72/

I would also strongly urge you to join both the Pantera International (PI) and Pantera Owner's Club of America (POCA). They have regional chapters and you will find that the people in the group have a vast wealth of knowledge and experience with these cars and people have been known to drive several hours to help another Pantera owner with a project or check out a car prior to purchase.

What area of the country are you in?
