I had a spare fuse box laying around and decided to try to convert it to modern bladed fuses. I purchased some heavy 8 gauge inline fuse holders and hacked off the bottom ends. I soldered on solid core wires in place of the strand wire, slipped them through the rivet connectors on the fuse holder and soldered them on the bottom. I finished off by filling the top with epoxy to hold the fuse holders in place. Works great! Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the in between steps when I made this.

Excellent. this is what Larry Stock sells, for what, about $350??!!

I've been studying this conversion myself, have handled and looked at one of Larry's units, but hadn't dialed in what holders to use.

If these single units can be converted that easy, looks like I'm off to eBay to convert the spare fuse block I've had sitting for about three years.

Thanks!!

Larry
