I have a problem with the lower 3 fuses in my fuse box. I have no power to either side of the fuse.I do have all the manuals and wiring diagrams for the car.Its a 71 and I bought it in a state of disrepair. I have learned alot in this project, but learned the most important thing and that is to ask before you leap.I also learned that pantera owners are the most helpfull bunch of people in the world.I hope i have given you all the info you need. If not I will update this asap thanks.... paul

I am the 1st to admit that with mechanical things, I can do it all. But electrical.... The only thing that works for me is, in your case, to check with a VOM for a dead-short, then select a non-powered wire and visually chase it backward until you find the break. Do NOT depend on the wiring diagrams (there are 4 that I know of, all slightly different) to help much. I have yet to find a Pantera of any year in which any of the diagrams are a perfect match. This is a tedious, difficult, low-cost way of fixing such a problem, but its the best I can do. Where are you located?

I'm in west virginia in the small town of fairmont. thanks for the info on this problem and on the wiring diagrams. I will get back to you from time to time about different problems as they arise,I'll give you a heads up about one i'm in now. I 'm having problems with bleeding my brakes,I've instaled a hall mastercylender and booster on the car along with new lines and replaced the big porpition valve up front with a tee per advice from a parts dealer in colorado. did I do right? I have also bleed the brakes from wheel cyc.up to master.by pump with a freind who is a fleet mech.for 15 yrs. and he need the brake warning light to be working for him to bleed the rest of the brakes. hence my first question. thanks....paul

If you plumbed the new manual proportioning valve the same as the stock one, it will limit the pressure to the front brakes while running the rears at full pressure. This worked because the rear calipers are tiny and are pretty much incapable of locking even the stock 205-70x 15 rear tires, causing a skid. I suggest that any proportioning valve is unnecessary on street Panteras, but if it is desired, it should limit pedal pressures to the rears rather than the fronts, just like most or all other cars. I put one in this way and found that it made little difference over the whole possible range.
hi paul
i have a 72l and i have a relay panel in the left kick panel that has relays.my turn signal, light pop up relay and my fuse control relay control.if yours is not in this area turn on your ignition switch and listen for a click, follow it and this is where i believe your problem may be.check the power to the relays by turning the ignition off and on,check the connectors, look for rust on these connections ,claen and try again
