from the discriptions, Thomas's circuit utilizes the capibility of the matrix chip to provide an over kill for curve fitting (16 points) where the other offers only 4 points which should be sufficient.

given I am still a long time from installing gauges, I'll wait on asking for a personnel introduction thanks Anders.

I suppose the MeterMatch would be a good alternative. I particularly like the option for a "warning" lamp at low Oil pressure!

There is a fuel gauge that "works" with the stock sender. You have to get familiar with the personality of the gauge readings. On E, you have 5 gals left. Full is needle beyond full scale. You will get used to it, and the VDO gauges look period correct.
