Great work Matt, thanks for sharing.

It is interesting the De Tomaso brochure from 1971 shows a narrow body car with a set of 10 spoke Campi's, I didn't know the 10 spoke's were every made in a narrow body version.

Julian

Many thanks Julian! Well spotted! Big Grin It's not a brochure, It's on of my creations. I used the group 4 wheels on a narrow bodied car! Which, I really shouldn't of.. I was just playing around Smiler
Thanks again!

Could you try the trick on a car with GTS flares?

Hi Larry, sure.. Is this for a visualization on a particular car? Can I have a photo of what you want the wheels on?
I am using the picture of the red & black car as my screen saver. Where is that picture taken?

It actually looks like Long Beach, California to me but I have a feeling that it is in Europe somewhere. Maybe Antwerp, Belgium but that appears to be a US car with the small license plate indent, and of course those are the comp wheels which were only on the Gp4 flared fender race cars, BUT that is a neat thought?

Hey Doug, are you talking about the abandoned docks image? I believe it's somewhere in Poland.
I honestly am not 100% sure, as there was no location info on my backplate. These are all 3D, so I can put it basically anywhere Big Grin

Yes, that's the one. One dock looks a lot like another to me. Long Beach looks a lot like that in certain respects.

I'm sure that I could find a similar view in Brooklyn or New Jersey if I looked for it also?

It does make an interesting back drop for the car.

I would not have expected it to be Poland. I would have thought any of those buildings from that era would have been bombed out from WWII action, but live and learn?

Actually the harbor in Antwerp got pretty much destroyed as well.
I do quite like the more industrial backdrops, any kind of machinery fits in well. I'm just in the process of buying all the camera gear to shoot my own environments (fish eye camera lens, etc) as relying on what is already out there kinda sucks and is too restrictive! We have some really nice locations here where I live... would be nice to get out, travel around and shoot locations for my cars.
