Yes, there is a HUGE difference between Carello and Altissimo. Carello makes you gain 25 HP more, because they're lighter and more expensive ! ! !

One difference between the Altissimo and the Carellos is the texturing of the bulb side of the lens. There may be others. Mr Finch can explain it.

As a little-noted bonus re GR-4 tail lights, you'll find that the NOS or refurbished ones from Larry Finch have much shinier reflectors than your originals, so the illumination to the rear is much improved over stock. Whether they're bright enough to catch the eye of a distracted, speeding, cell-phone/texting soccer-mom is debatable, but every little bit helps!

I also replaced the original bulbs by LED bulbs ( from John Taphorn )
Great for racing, may be dangerous for street use , as I've been told that those LEDs are unidirectional ( means that you don't see them well when you're on the side... )
