The depression seen in the middle of the L bumper is to properly accomodate viewing an American size rear license plate. You will notice the much large flat surface on the rear of the car for Euro Plates and the bumpers recessed area is American Plate size. My GT5-S bumper has a larger recess for the Euro plate and I don't believe the bumper is upside down on this car. The taillights are seemingly angled more noticeably than mine and other GT5-S cars I have seen.

However, the camera could have distorted the view a bit and the way the car was originally fabricated (by hand) could contribute as well. I suspect you'd really have to see it up close to tell.
