I think the last time this came up, we decided that- yes, sort of- is the answer. The manual apparently given with the wide-body cars is the same Red Owners Manual circa 1973 for narrow-body cars, with a three or four-pg supplement covering the changes to the fuse panel, relays etc. for the post-Ford Panteras. The red owners manuals are readily available from all vendors, POCA's store and Chapters and so forth. The supplement might have to be a photocopy from an owner of such.

Does owners manuals exist for GT5-S cars??

Thanks

Yes, there does exist a manual for the GT5-S cars. I have a copy and I wouldn't call it the most complete manual I have ever seen. As Jack states, it is the owners manual for the early cars with a few pages changed - namely the fuses and HVAC control panel.

Knowing the fuse configuration could be quite handy, but the description of the HVAC panel left me with questions that I still don't know to this day (specifically wrt getting fresh air into the cabin)

Charlie, Does it have info on how to set time on the digital clock ? Or do I have to find a twelve year old to show me. Jim Coyne

Jim - go figure! It does NOT! BEst best is to find a 12 year old! Man, that clock is a pain to set!!

I used to set it once a year, disconnecting the battery for winter (I now have a battery tender). It would take FOREVER to figure out the trick, which I would inevitably forget by the following year.

I think the best plan is the 12 year old... My clock is accurate right now but I literally couldn't tell you how I did it!

Some GT5-S owner must have it!!!!

Wayne - in my opinion, the only really useful part of the GT5-S manual is the fuse panel layout. I've scanned those 2 pages for other 5-S owners. Send me your e-mail address in a PM and I'll send them to you.

Happy to scan anything else you have a specific interest in, but there really isn't much useful. Doesn't even tell you how to set the clock!
