Yes the black one was a complete stocker, that is either 'good or bad' depending on your tastes and wants.

#9387 is advertised on Chuck's website (www.provamo.com) for $82.5K, with some nice but not overdone upgrades, personally I think it is reasonably priced for such a nice example of a rare vehicle. There's a lot of Ford era cars for sale on Chuck's website which may be a sign of the economic times and temporarily drive prices down, but I would not expect the later post Ford cars to come down in price much.

Late model Panteras are selling for a lot more than in the US pretty much everywhere else in the world. It's not unusual to see them going for the equivalent of more than $100,000 (as shown by three recent sales of UK RHD cars to Australia and New Zealand).

I predict that prices of US luxury goods like the Pantera will suffer deflation until and unless the US government imposes fiscal and monetary discipline to stop the American race with Zimbabwe to see who can reach economic bottom first. Not to worry, though. I'm sure the Europeans will take good care of the DeTomaso cars that they will acquire in N America for pennies on the dollar. Razzer
