Guara Running Gear in Pantera

All,
I’m looking at pretty much replicating the Guara engine/gearbox arrangement in my Pantera. I have a 4.0 BMW V8 engine – currently with auto flywheel. Audi ‘boxes are 10 a penny here - I don't have one yet.
Does anyone have details of the flywheel/clutch/adaptor plate arrangement used on the Guara?

Phil,

If you have ever ridden in a Guara, they have 6 gears, but only 5 are usable. First gear is so low it's not worth engaging. I think Steve Wilkinson managed to sort this out on the later cars, but it was all to late.
Call Steve, he knows more about the Guara than anyone.

I won't be going for the 6 speed - The one to go for as far as I have been told is 5 spd and tagged the 01E - which should give theoretical top speed of around 155mph.

Hopefully I wont need the interstitial gear. Does anyone know what flywheel/clutch to use? I dont really want one of those multiplate thingies that have been mentioned elsewhere.

Phil,
There's a couple Pantera's in Europe with BMW engines. You may want to track the owners down for info. Don't know if they used the ZF or ???
