Finding out more about the car.

Passenger side header collector almost touches the frame reinforcements that carry the rear suspension.
.050" clear maybe. I'm sure it contacts at idle and acceleration. Also the rubber muffler hanger doesn't hang straight on this side. Kind of kinked or offset a bit.

No obvious reason like worn motor mounts or loose bolts, unless there's something I might not be seeing. Engine sits evenly.

Drivers side is fine. Nice 3/8+" clear at any given tight spot. Rubber hanger nice and straight.

A spacer between the header and the engine, such as a spare header flange, would appear to move the offending header in just the right direction to cure both my problems.

It would take a usable flange, an extra flange gasket and longer bolts, no big deal. Seems easy.

Reasonable solution on a semi-sorta long term temporary basis? Anyone got a donor flange or a lead on one? Any other ideas?

In the long run I'm going to get another system, but that's not in the budget cards right now.

The Schoenfeld connection was just the ticket. Really quick drop ship direct to my home by ordering through a local dealer. Cost was cheaper ($23) than in
Schoenfelds site. Only 1/4" thick but served my purpose as a spacer. No more contact.
I'm guessing that if I'd asked, they could've plasma'd them out of thicker stock.
Also, when I pulled the header to try it out, I found that a set of those exhaust port restrictors in place. Sort of a thin flange with tabs bent back into the exhaust ports. I know I've read about them.
Any opinions on those?
I'm prone to leaving them there.
Thanks everybody.
