I pulled the mufflers off of 1717 today, and the bumpers, and the sidecovers for the engine screen.....I m going to powder coat all of these pieces. While under the car I noticed that the drivers side header( The car has big bore headers with ANSA mufflers) looks like it can be a real mutha to remove. Will it come out with the motor still in place?? Sorry for this I just want to ask you guys instead of learning the hard way!

The drivers side seems to be a little easier to get out than the passenger side. As far as header removal or replacement, the Pantera seems to be the easiest car I have ever done that job on.

I still don't get it. You take them out from the bottom and you reinstall them from the bottom. The driver's side has more room than the passenger side because the coolant fill tank is on the passenger side. Taking headers on and off of these cars is as simple and easy as it gets. The frame rails are not in the way and if you have the car on a lift, it is much easier than laying on your back, although I have installed a couple of sets with only the back of the car jacked up.
