I just got my car back from paint. It seems that the right headlight has a bad ground as the light is very dim. Also both lights go out when I got to high beams. How do I remove the trim ring & light so I can chase the wiring?

The rings just pop off with your fingers. At least mine did, you may need a small screw driver. Also pull the front tires off and the front shields, there are more connections for the lights there! Thats where my ground problem was.

What kind of shape is your turn signal stalk/switch in? I had the same symptoms, plus my turn signals would not cancel when I made a turn. Turned out to be an issue with the turn signal switch/stalk, which is also the High/Low switch for your headlights. Bill Taylor (SOBill) rebuilt the whole assembly and all works well now.
