I bought one of those Mustang shields and it did not fit! I got my shield from Wilkinson Pantera. He was the only vendor I found who had the correct shield. I think the parts manual might have the shield part number wrong. The snorkel tube is a common part, C9UZ-9652-A. The cheapest price was directly from FORD for around $12.00. The Mustang vendors have them too. BTW, the tube is paper, not metal.

Keep in mind that the OEM heat riser (also called a choke stove) was designed to fit the stock stamped headers and only works with the stock air door on the OEM air cleaner. On the good side, Ford used that same basic air cleaner clear up to about 1995 on 460 trucks, so parts are easily available.
