Hi,
there is top stuff on the Tube/pipes, incl. the rip out process..(nice work!)
There are pictures and Text on Copper Tube and Stainless Steal tubes..I understand.

Status:
1) I want to rip the crap rosty steal stuff out (as car is completely disassembled)
2) I understand process ...incl.the Sawzall

Now
a) I would prefere a Aluminium Tube STRAIGT ONLY!!! ... ok will get them in Germany no issue
b) add A PROPPER Rubber /Silicon hose (temperature approved!! no issue) for the rest in adequate size!

Please any EXPERIENCE with this model?

If you are talking about the main cooling tubes under the car....

They should be in multiple pieces in case you ever need to remove them while the engine is installed.

I suggest you put "bungs" or valves in them (at the lowest point) to assist in draining the coolant, so it doesn't make such a huge mess.

Here's what I did.

Also, this isn't directly related, but do the self-bleeding radiator mod. George describes it in This thread - scroll down past the thermostat, and look at the line drawing.

given the title includes Heater with radiator in quotes, I'll assume you mean the steel tubes in the console tunnel from engine bay to heater "core".

I have not approach their replacement yet, but I would be cautious of straight tubes interfering with shifter.

My "thinking", if the air conditioner can use flexiable hoses why not the heater?

I guess the thinking was a heater hose burst would scald, leaving marks. where an AC hose burst would suficate you with no visiblae marks Smiler
