Thanks! Very timely info. I was just looking for one. Do these have an integral solenoid, so the firewall mounted one can go away?

That is a good price for one, is there any difference between the 94/95 5.0L Mini Starter and this one, or is it the same thing? They look exactly the same.

Don't forget to ask for the wiring kit when ordering. It's supposed to be free, but you have to ask for it.

You have to keep the firewall solenoid, They supply a wire with the starter that attaches to the solenoid on the firewall and plugs into the starter. It takes 2 seconds, its real easy.

I don't know the answer to that. When I purchased mine, I called them with a few questions and they were very helpful, I suggest giving them a call.

I installed the same starter about a year ago and also removed my bulky solenoid. I did, however, put in a smaller bosch relay to protect my wiring.

My car has only been out on a few test runs since it is not completed yet, but I have been very happy with the starter so far.
