Call me photo challenged. What steps do I need to take to correctly resize my photo's for an album? I see some postments where the pictures are too big and I see others in their photo albums that are correct. I tried to post but get a response that my photo's have too much KB? I don't see in my Microsoft photo editing where I can adjust this.

Thanks, Dan

You need to resize the picture. I believe Microsoft Photo Editor has an "Image" menu with an option called "Image Size" or "Resize Image." Go there and change the image to 640x480 pixels. This will typically result in a suitable image size for publishing to this board. You can use other tools to, such as Photoshop or Infranview (Google it for a free download).

Cheers!

In addition to the resize you can also reduce the number of colours and increase the compression.

Choose File then Save As. Notice the 'More >>' button. Press that to get extra options.
For BMP files you can reduce the number of colours to 256 and you can turn on compression.

For jpeg and jpg files you can increase the level of compression (at the expense of the picture quality).

Reducing the colours can sometimes make the picture look awful, so make sure that you don't change the original picture. Use 'Save As' under a new name.
