Hey Folks:
Just bolted up a High Torque Starter. But want to confirm the wiring approach to bypass the stock solenoid. Please confirm... or advise.

1. Remove the existing heavy gauge wire that runs from the solenoid to the starter, at the original solenoid.

2. reconnect the removed cable end to the original solenoid on the opposite side. To attach to the binding post that has the direct feed from the battery.

3. Remove the thin gauge red cable that attaches to the original solenoid S terminal.

4. Extend the red cable with same gauge wire and attach a female spade connector to it.

5. Reconnect the extended red cable to the male spade on the new starter motor solenoid. (its the only terminal that has a spade)

6. Reconnect the heavy gauge wire to outer binding post on the new starter motor.
*** there are two binding posts... one has a smaller cable that attaches to the starter, and one does not. Leave the small wire in place and attach to the open binding post???***

Please confirm or advise if this is correct or not.
