Maybe a silly question :
Most of the engine builders intall the lifter bar faced to the centrum from the block.
I installed the bar on the backside - facing to the cylinder heads.
Is this wrong ?
You mount a standart hydraulic lifter also without any direction , because the oil is arround the lifter in any case.
Howards tech line said , I should turn the lifters , because everybody do so, but they can not explain why .
I want to install the lifterbar backside, because there is more oil splashing arround and the valvelash is easier to see.
What do you think ?
Thanks
