Ignition switch grommet

I was looking for a picture on line. Wilkinson doesn't even show the switch or the column.

Anyone want to sell me one? It'll cost me $12 in shipping if I buy it from a vendor.

Yes, there is one, at least on my '71 there is. It is small and I'm sure many just go missing if the plastic column surround is removed even once in the life of the car. I don't have a photo handy. It is a short black tube with a rounded return on the inner edge that mates with the lock.

After I saw Mark's ignition switch grommet I recognized that for some reason I never had one on my car.

I researched the issue and found out that it was installed in early cars but was not part of the build on later cars.

In any case, such a grommet could not be found for purchase from any of the vendors.
