I'm in the process of selecting a Pantera and I've been advised to hire an inspector. Can anyone help? Contacts? Much appreciated! Any thoughts on the most popular year?
I'm located in northern VA. It seems like most of the cars are located on the west coast. I was told that within the Pantera community, east coast cars are viewed as "risky" due to salt on the roads during winter, etc. Is there truly a stigma attached to east coast Panteras?
no stigma, just have the car checked out. If it's bad you will have saved a bundle. If it's checks out desion time. Just look at a bunch of cars if you can.
SW, I am located in Md.I will be glad to look at any cars in the area. There is also a chapter of POCA in the area (Chesapeake Pantera Assoc.)You might think about joining them .They might be very helpfull in finding a car. Ron
Thanks for your reply. I'll contact you via e-amil and we can take it form there.
BTW: I'm looking to purchase a 71-72 Pantera. I live in northern Virginia. I'm looking for a car that's gone through full restoration (bare metal) with moderate upgrades. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
