This is a huge question,'cause there ere are currently nine different stagger-valve SVO 351C-type alloy heads and six straight-valve SVO 351W-type heads possible, all with different port sizes. There are also at least three non-SVO alloy heads on the market, one stagger-valve & the straight-valve Edelbrock & Brodix, plus two SVO iron 'Sportsman' racing heads. All are 'streetable'; most require special intake manifolds. A sample:
For 351C alloy stagger-valve SVO heads w/2.15" intake & 1.65 exh valves:
SVO A-3 vol is 241cc/int, 134cc/exh.
SVO C-302 is 212cc/int, 95cc/exh.
351W alloy straight-valve SVO head Y-302 w/1.94" int & 1.54" exh valves, vol is 160cc/int, 53cc/exh.
For straight valve 351W alloy head K-302 w/2.02" int/1.60" exh valves, port vol is 170cc int & 60cc/exh.
The 4-V iron head is something like 295cc int/160cc exh, most of which is 'dead zone'.
Don't recall the specs on the U.S. 2-V iron head or the iron Aussie 2-V.
Note- the above as-cast data is published in various year Ford/SVO Performance catalogues.
