My car has one of the huge wings across the rear of the hood over the engine compartment. Is this a De Tomaso fitment or an after market device.

Personally I don't care much for the unit, but would only retain it if it was a factory item.

car due in UK early January, Fingers crossed. BTW I am also bringing in from new Mexico a 64 TR4, its interesting to see these huge container vessels going from port to port and then cross the Atlantic to antwerp and other ports before eventually getting to the UK, they never stay still for long. Amazing.

You can often follow the containers route live nowadays via vessel satellite tracking.

The wing was fitted to later GT5 and GT5S cars and would not be a period correct fitment on your GTS. Personally I am not a fan either hence my GT5 does not wear one.

Interesting that a TR4 would be a viable US purchase to ship back to the UK, I guess the climate plays a big role in preservation.

Thanks for that Joules It will go on Ebay, hopefully it will sell and help pay the Revenue men some of their Hated Tax, I should find a price for it?

the TR4 ( I now have 3 ) coming from New Mexico will have sound panel work. fenders are so expensive here in the UK, £600 for a perfect one! am on the Vessel tracking too, thank you again Peter
