Have the pantera electronics fuse panel , and i keep blowing fuse 12 which is the ignition circuit fuse, it does not blow straight away its only after driving it for a few miles, its a 25amp fuse. i noticed when it blows the fuse i loose my power windows operation and fuel guage , temp guage.
It only started doing it since the altenator upgrade, and amp to volt meter change.
Any ideas where to start to track the issue?

One suggestion is that if you have the two Power Window fuses in the separate box, or if they have been integrated into the PI Fusebox, why don't you try pulling them, and drive a round for a while.

If the Ignition fuse doesn't blow, then there is some kind of cross coupling that is occurring between the circuits.

It seems to me that the power window interaction probably has something to do with the problem.

fuse 13 and 14 are the power windows from looking at the wiring on Pantera Electronics site, so i am not sure why they would be an issue with fuse 12, looks like fuse 12 also incorporates 1 electric fan, the other fan is hooked into fuse 11,I have new Mirah fans. but i am willing to try anything and report back, just have to stock up on some more fuses first Smiler
If it were me, I would use a "fuse buddy"

to see how the load across was acting.

given it blows while driven, I would suspect the circuit is being overload when the fan comes on. BUT, it might be the circuit has an unwanted high load prior.

the original fuse 12 originally provided the old alternator warning light so that would be on my high probable list as a source of unwanted current draw

Fuse 13 and 14 (power windows) loosing power when 12 blows is an egnima! I didn't find a schematic on pantera electronics sight to see how the key power buss was arranged
Hemihunter; Empathy for you!
My 2 cents of observation:
You mentioned fuel & temp gauges going out when fuse 12 blows, and a recent change to a voltmeter. What is powering your voltmeter? Did you tap into the pink wire which also powers the other gauges?
Fuses 11 & 12 are bridged on the back side of the fuse box; therefore, is there any crossover when the fans kick on?
The brake light is also powered by fuse 11. Any correlation with braking and fuse blowing.
Seems that your "bumping" against the 25 amps and the least amount of current is blowing the fuse.
I'm with JFB on the warning lights and no power windows since they should be on a completely different circuit; however, I'm not familiar with the Pantera Electronics fuse panel .
As stated, my empathy. In the restoration process myself, and have square knots on the back of my head from letting it rest on the clutch pedal with multimeter in hand.

Is this cured? I can take you through my approach when looking for the wiring issue if you need the support. It's late now so if you still having problems, please drop me a note and I will go through the search pattern tomorrow.
I found an uninsulated wire end (yellow) in the centre guage cluster , so i wrapped some tape on it, and fitted the load buddy meter this morning,
Got it up to temp all good , was drawing 0.5 amp, fans cut in went to around 5 to 7 amps , loaded it up with window operation and A/C turn signals etc did not really change from that.
But needless to say test drove it and all seems fine , no blowing fuses.
