There was a 1972 black Pantera #3365 in Aurora. Had 60,000 miles and was asking $33,000.00 Canadian.
Car ran well but had usual rust issues (ZF shifted well) however. You mentioned you are a bodyman so it may not scare you. The car may have been sold but just thought you may want to try it since its in your backyard.
Email me at frescura@rogers.com and I will email details if you are interested.
I have several project Panteras for sale and know of several more. May I suggest that when an enthusiast searches for a project, that a price range be expressed and also the condition desired. Project cars generally have some amount of rust, from mild to end-stage. We also have cars with missing components such as the ZF, engine and interiors. With more information, we can point you in the right direction. Respectfully, Dave Adler for PI Motorsports, Inc.
Good points Dave. Only one of the local cars I knew of is actually for sale.

I have not seen the car, but could do a quick look if you are serious about it. The owner (whom I do not know, but have spoken to) is asking $40K CDN, but I believe he is motivated to move on and wants it gone.

Good luck.
I am looking to spend about $20,000 depending on the condition.I prefer a complete car but will take a non complete car.I don't mind some rust issues because I am planning a full rotisserie style restoration, but my main concern is that the ZF transmission come with the car because of it's replacement cost.Let me know if I am in the ballpark for a project Thanks for your response

I've got a 74L i just bought that needs work.It has rocker rust and a little floorboard rust and rust areas around the car.The wheelhouse is fine. The tops of the headlight buckets are rusty but i have replacement parts for it.I just bought it from the original owner with 20,000 miles. This car under the dash is like new,the wiring has not been hacked at at allIn the last couple of years he just put about $20,000 in it.Its got wilwood brakes, h.d. radiator.new steering rack, new gas tank, new intake ,carb, timing chain. The interior is in very good shape.a rip in drivers seat. The car sat in this guys driveway for 3 years.Thats where the rust comes from. The car runs fine, shifts great and runs cool.I have many parts for the car to help with the restoration. You can drive this car with no problem while working on it.The car needs work but it is not a total rat.I boght this to fix and use it as a driver.I have a group 4 that is my pride and joy.Doctors say i have high blood pressure so they want me to take it easy for awhile.I do all my own work so i don't want the car to sit in garage for a long time.I'm asking $15,000 for it.If you do you're own work its well worth it.
