# 3463 now has gutted mufflers. Finishing the cases, grinding welds, painting, etc and then the mounting. I will post the difference in volume. I decided to use the "V" diverter method since I have had open case mufflers before and liked the sound. Note the difference in the 2 mufflers???, and method we used to open the cases. Heated and bent a "door" open to save a weld on the outside of the cans.

Now that I have painted the exhaust, mounted them and come back from Palm Springs I "tested" the sound today...

What a difference! This is the best thing yet. The car drives totally different. Less restriction more crisp. Viewing the before pictures the baffles and resonators really clogged the cans and all around performance.

The sound is really attractive. Grabs even more attention than before and very positive comments.

Jeff,

After some investigating I decided to leave the tips alone. I wanted a powerful sound. Not the "Bubba Redneck Pick-up Truck" > quote from a forum member... I believe that the tips take the edge off. The sound is great, the volume is not for most up to and including the timid, the meek, little animals and small children. Although to each is own.
