Well, I was warming up the Pantera today , happily anticipating a nice ride on a brisk but sunny Atlanta day. When I noticed a wisp of steam coming out of my left hood vent.
I replaced the original radiator 8 years ago with a Hall unit. Two years later it developed a leak. Pulled it and had a local radiator shop repair the leak. It is leaking again. I diligently replace the antifreeze every two years. It always comes out nice and green with no sign of corrosion etc.
My question is should I replace the radiator with something better (aluminum ) ? Or should I just repair it again ? Is six or so years all I can expect from a copper /brass unit before it will spring a leak ?
Thanks,
Jeff
