When I bought my early 71, vin# 1755 it had a L bumper on it amoung other challenges that I've been working my way throught each winter. When the weather turns I will do something new each year, but it has to be done by spring because I enjoy working on my car but I love driving it. This winter I built new front bumpers. They are all steel and the driving lights and turn singles are LED's. Let me know what you think.

I have a set of early bumpers I bought off e-bay and matched the bends and size and then shaped them to fit the LED's. My biggest fear is someone turning or pulling out in front of me when I'm cruzing down a country road. Here is a picture of the blank off the break before cutting and welding.

They are ones I hand made. The top above the lights are the same size and shape as the stock Per-L bumpers that I used as a pattern but I wanted LED driving lights so I can be seen coming at people (and I think they look cool). The LED's are set in an inch from the front of the bumper and the small round lights are LED turn signals. After the big air dam I did last year that turned out ugly I wanted to go back stock, almost.
