It became so open to the engine room so i made a spoiler with brake light to cover it a little.

Very cool. I was planning something similar with the side air intakes.
I like those vents on the decklid!
Yeah, the side and deck vents are great... Very nice car, just beautiful !...
That is beautiful. Looks perfect all natural.
Amazingly talented fabrication here! Thanks for sharing.
Man i love this car!! Great work!
Its a masterpiece - wish it would be mine
Impressive work. Way to go!
Is the old tunnel still in Place Kim?
Don't forget the Grab handle for the passenger!!

Hi Kim.
Looking good, what type of gauges are you planing to use?
Kjeld.

Hi Peter yes the old tunnel is there!
Kjeld. I think i use the stock gauges they look pretty nice! I also have stock gauges in my other Pantera with custom interior and it fits nice. But i have not decided if i use the small gauges at all, because i have the screen and the center console is so clean looking without gauges.

The new interior looks fantastic!! Another masterpiece

even though your other interior looks great, I think I would like the "no gauge" look of the center console too!
maybe it is the photo's perspective, but will you have enough room for your hand with forward shifts?
as always... stunning work man
looking good.
Kjeld.
Fantastic!
Fantastic fabrication skills!!! Keep the pics coming!
I feel like such an underachiever while looking at the incredible talents that you and others have on this Forum. Truly an inspiration. Incredible work!
Amazing work. Keep up the good work
I like #2.
You made two of those panels just for fun? You are something!
Nice work.

Really like your roof panel. Have wondered why some of the customizers haven't gone this route before.
Gary Hall used to offer a fiberglas or blow-molded plastic overhead console for switches, etc. Call Tara- they might still have some. The wiring was all concealed in one of the stock a-pillar covers as I did with our hard-wired radar detector above the stock mirror.
Really beautiful work!
Very impressive.. Thanks for sharing!
I wish I could do stuff like that!

I think you need those tanks higher, the air will not evacuate from the system if the tanks are not higher that the radiators height.
Chris
The bottom of swirl tank is 4,7 inch higher than top of radiator and top of swirl tank is 2,5 inch higher than engine heads !
So i think it should work fine!?

O.K. picture fooled me, great job.
Its good that you boys comment those kind of things !

Actually, if you were going to have the swirl tank under suction (as well as the radiator), as recommended by Carroll Smith - I would think they would still auto-bleed.
As you probably know, the bottom of the expansion tank is "sucked" by the water pump, and the swirl, radiator and head bleeds (if you have them) go to the top of the expansion tank. George has a good diagram on his cooling system sticky.
If the expansion tank top was lower than the radiator, though - I would guess you would figure it our pretty quick!

That was a good picture! The BMW engine have cooling system just like that . So i think this will work just fine.

Absolutely incredible job!
I think I'll copy your project a little bit and make my front bumperpieces of aluminium. I haven't got the originals so I can make my own kind...
I have to see your car someday in real life.

If you need some more pictures of the bumpers let me know! Have you taken yours out on the road yet?

No, not this summer. Selling and buying a new apartment has taken my garagetime from this spring. Well, hopefully the summer is productive and manage to do every major things with the car.
Okay every one
I have a question. If i connect the radiator air bleed with a small hose to the suction tube to waterpump i get the air build up out of radiator!
Yes some water is going only trough half of radiator but if i use a very small hose it is a minimal amount.
And the air is going trough engine before overflow tank, But it has to be very little air or there are some other problem with cooling system so it should not be a concern.
The right way is to direct it to overflow tank! But i have little to no room in front of engine, and therefore i think this should work pretty good! Or??

I believe some of the early cars used a cooling system configuration like this....
Maybe someone with more experience will chime in.
It seems like it should work.

I see you are doing a great job on the body work.
Maybe it's an idee to go for a taller license plate space?
Like the Pantera SI,
The GT5-S is a little smaller and dont fit the EU license plate proper.
Simon

HI Simon
In Finland you can get mini license plates they fit precise ! They have smaller letters and without EU mark at the end, But only if the normal don't fit !
I have a spare rear end from doors back its a GT5 with the big license opening, So i have thought about it but it is better with the small because they come in pairs so it looks better in the front with small license plate

Yes also in The Netherlands we have small license plates , yellow on the modern cars and blue on the classic cars.
Only alowed when there is no space for the big plates.
And squere plates.

Amazing metal work. We always apply 2 coats of epoxy over all bare metal. I like the Southern Polurethane Inc. products.
Kim, it's an ITALIAN sportscar! Red is the national color and really pops in the sunlight.
Thats a good blue
Red every friend here says it should be, So that color is out of question
I really don't like bright colors but i think it fits this type of car! So i am going for some bright .
The orange and blue is nice. Green also but better on modern style car.
Silver is to hard to repair if needed and every Toyota here around is silver
its hard to decide i have to spray some test pieces!

Well I'll chime in..
Personally I don't think the Lamborghini green/orange bright colors suit the 5S body style. I much prefer something on the darker side from deep red to maroon, french blue to dark blue etc.
But that's just me and there should be enough examples on the web you can get a good idea of what works for you.

WOW...what an ideal!
did you consider embedding in a DU bearing for the bolt sleeve to slide in?
The DU bearing would be great! I had not thought about that.
But this is good enough for now, With smooth stainless sleeves it do the job.

Kim, you might want to install those double-adjust shocks upside down for better access to the adjusters you paid extra for. Most premium gas shocks today will work in either orientation, and as a bonus you lose a little unsprung weight. Just a suggestion.
Marc. I will try to do that!
