I have been getting electrical gremlin advice from our resident expert Jon Haas. In one of his e-mails he mentioned that he had a new product developed. It is an ignition switch controller (“ISC”). It is a push button start and a whole lot more.

As great an electrical engineer as Jon is, he is not much for promoting his products. So I will! Products designed and engineered to be Pantera specific. Made in the U.S.A. Easy to install with idiot proof instructions for the electrically/mechanically challenged (me). Fantastic support (no question too stupid and answered promptly) Try getting this support from any generic electrical manufacturer like Painless etc.

For those who have any of Jon’s products these comments are already well known. For those yet to buy a PE product you will not be disappointed.

Super duper Smiler I think it is fantastic that things continue to be developed for our cars. One question, I have read through the stuff on the homepage about it and can't see anywhere if one can still use the key to start the car after fitting the push button starter (hope I haven't missed it in the description, otherwise I'll look like a bit of an arse) - perhaps this is silly question, but it might be worth mentioning.
Cheers, Tim.
Having ordered it today, I am soon to be the proud owner of one of Jon's fabulous fuse box upgrades. His replies were like seminars in Pantera electrical deficiency. A talented man.

I also invested in some new power window switches since one of mine decided to start a small welding business under the console.

These two changes should help! Thanks for the link Jeff.
BIG IMPROVEMENT!

First, got the new window switches in. Glad that cured my inop window.

Then, as a preventive, got Jon's Pantera fuse box upgrade. Wow. A quaity piece of work.

Pulled my old one, wire by wire, swapped over to the new box. Once complete, I was certain that my handiwork would result in turning on the blinker and my radio would come on. Yet in a surprise of epic proportions, all the electrical components worked as intended.

In fact, my windows were faster. Headlights were brighter. My hazards which have NEVER worked, now work. Amazing.

I called Jon, and he walked me through a particular self induced snag. Honestly, this is one of the best, easiest 'peace of mind' aids I've done on my car yet. Highly recommended.

Here's the ATO fuse box. Worth a look. http://www.pantera-electronics.com/ato.html
