All,

I have researched and found there are posts that say the Veglia fuel sender is zero ohms when full, and 200 ohms when empty.
I have also researched and found there are posts that say the Veglia fuel sender is zero ohms when full, and 340 ohms when empty.
Anyone know which is correct?
Anyone sure there was not a design change somewhere during production?
There are now numerous little black boxes, some as cheap as $40 and others well over $100. They all purport to allow custom calibration for three or five points, determined while bench testing sender and gauge through the little black box.
Before I get into selecting a little black box I figured I should try to confirm what the Veglia ohm range actually is.
I am seeking to provide a halfway accurate signal to a VDO gauge with a range of 10 to 184 ohm.
Anyone by chance already solve that equation?
Any and all wisdom appreciated.
TIA,
Larry

I looked but could not find the readings I took years ago when I replaced my gauge with a VDO.  I added a resistor to attempt to compensate between the gauge and sender.  The result was a reading of full which is accurate but falls off as the fuel drops.  I gave up and just measure it by hand occasionally not that I let the tank drop that much.  I like to keep fresh gas at all times.

If I remember, empty was the zero ohms reading or close to it.
