Old-style '71 brake master cylinder leaking - need help

My 71 still has the original master cylinder with two individual plastic reservoirs connected to the master cylinder with plastic hoses and thread-on connectors.

the front connetor is leaking fluid. I have cleaned and tightened it down.

Anyone have experience with this and how they stopped leakage.

Lee,

I got some copper washers from an auto parts store (O'Reilly's ??). The M14 goes between the master cyl and the banjo fitting, and the M12 goes between the top of the banjo fitting and the head of the banjo bolt.

No, the leak is the connection on the bottom of the plastic reservoir. There is a threaded plastic nut with 4 ribs on it with a rubber gasket inside that threads onto the plastic threaded tube that exists the bottom of the reservoir. I have tightened that hand tight as much as I can but it is leaking none the less.
