PLAY IN WIPER ARMS

SOLVED ONE PROBLEM AND ENCOUNTERED ANOTHER.WOULD ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH PLAY IF ANY THERE SHOULD BE IN THE WIPER ARMS AND IN THINKING THAT LITTLE TO NONE SHOULD EXIST WERE ARE THE PROBABLE SOURCES OF THIS PLAY. WOULD IT BE ATTRIBUTED TO WEAR IN THE PLASTIC GEAR WHICH LOOKED OK OR WOULD IT BE IN THE DRIVE GEARS AT THE BASE OF THE PIVOT SHAFTS.

I had a ton of play in mine. Everything was loose underneath. I removed everything to inspect (gears and cable look good) but haven't reinstalled everything yet to test.
