power by ford emblem

My car is at the shop AT THE MOMENT (new clutch, flywheel, giving the ZF a going through, etc...) I will post a picture when I get it back. (soon I hope!)

Powered by Ford is correct for all U.S. spec cars.

Where did the emblem I have come from?

Not 100% sure but I think Hall Pantera made those for people who wanted to replace the original .

Do you know how it is attached to thd deck lid? I would like to get a power by ford emblem but I don't want to damage the paint getting the old one off.

I bought mine from Quella in Castle Rock. I am sure most of the vendors sell them nowadays.

The badge has 2 pins. Carefully pry out with a narrow paint scraper while protecting the paint surface. Personally, I would give up if it does not surrender easily. Time can strengthen relationships

how is it applied? taped, glued or screwed?

To get my original "Powered by Ford" emblem loose I used a plastic tool used for removing body emblems and molding pieces. I had to work one side and then move to the other side many times to get the pins to let go.

As JTpantera said, "Time can strengthen relationships" and mine had a very strong bond. I ended up getting it to finally let loose with time, patience, and perseverance.

It is attached in the same manner as the rear script. However, if you car was repainted, who knows what type of attachment method the restorer used. Often the original "press fit acceptors" are compromised
