Last week when the struts on my  rear deck failed, I had to fill my car with gas for a Sunday drive.  I had left my back up prop stick at home and was holding the decklid up while filling the tank.  After I was through, I let the decklid down and proceeded to drive out of the gas station.  After turning out of the station onto the main street, I realized I had not screwed my gas cap on and immediately returned to the station.  I would say the total time out of the station was less than 2 minutes,  By the time I returned to the pump in perhaps 90 seconds, the cap was gone.  I went inside to inquire if someone had turned the cap in knowing full well that there would not have been enough time to find it, walk into the station, get into a car and leave, and of course, nobody had turned it in. I called Mike Mayberry to see if he had one, and he didn't realize I was talking about a threaded cap, he assumed I was looking for a regular gas cap.  He said those threaded caps just don't exist anymore.

Does anyone have a cap they'd like to sell?  I don't care if it has a logo or not, I just don't feel like having the exterior kit cut through my side gills.

Or does anyone know if any of the vendors still sell a replacement cap?  I would appreciate any help.

Thanks
