Pressure Tank/Over Flow Tank

I have acid washed the pressure tank as you can see and am about to get it ceramic coated.
So while it was out I thought about installing the over flow tank back in.
The car didn't have a the over flow tank in when I bought it.
My question is can the over flow tank be placed slightly below the pressure tank.

I have the exact setup, and it works great! I do suggest using the best available hose possible to the plastic clamp, and I used an aluminum sleeve inside the plastic nipple so the nipple won't crush when the clamp is tightened. It's proved the test of time!
