Sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Although they are very cool and worth some money I'm sure what ever you sell them for it is a drop in the bucket compared to his current medical bills.

About 3 months ago I posted a message looking to buy a set of these...I have since made a custom set with 408 Stroker lettering...will post pics soon when I get them back. I would still like to buy your set and am open to your selling price when you get that. If you want to PM me that is fine.

I take it you have a set of these Marlin A local had a set of these without the studs that I passed on, think the last sets I've seen on the bay went for 6-800 but not NOS like this set. You should be able to get over 1k for them especially if you keep registering on cleveland car sites and advertising them before an ebay dump. Sorry to hear about your in-law and good luck.

FWIW, Ford/SVO sold these in the '80s as combination bling-y rocker covers and rocker stud-girdles. The rocker studs protrude thru the top of the unusually thick cast covers, bracing the upper parts of the rocker studs. The critical parts are the NOS copper washers that seal (mostly) the 16 protruding studs from oil leaks. The covers weren't practical for racers but street guys jump on them whenever they show up.
