4 years ago our father passed away suddenly leaving his beautiful '74 Pantera GTS in the garage under cover. Considering I have to go through college soon my mother is wondering what we could realistically get for the car and if anyone on here was interested. Before he died my father wrote up a flyer for the car in case there were ever any potential buyers. Here is what that flyer reads:

"1974 Pantera GTS, American version" - This is car is 1 of approximately 96 built with approximately 15-25 known to remain.

Beautiful new leather interiror with custom Flow-fit chairs and hand laid carbon fiber. The interior was done by Gary Maucher, who has done interiors for Pebble Beach concourse winners as well as interior work on the Miller Special and other automobiles at the Smithsonian.

The engine is the original block, completely rebuilt by Chris Giles with the finest internal components, topped by a Haltec fuel injection system. The exhaust is Minetrain with jet coating on the inside and chromed on the outside. The transaxle was rebuilt by the world-renowned ZF man, Roy Buttford. Roy worked for Fords' racing program and was responsible for the GT-40's ZF transaxles (same on in the Pantera).

The wheels are one-offs by Boyd Coddington; they are 17" rims fully polished. Rear tire size is 315/40/17, front tire size is 255/40/17. The suspension A-arms have been completely shot peined along the front edge and welded. All new suspension bushings. Timken taper roller bearings rear axles, new springs and Koni shocks all around. Entire suspension is powder coated or chromed.

Big Boy brakes by Willwood (they really stop the beast). All bolts throughout are hexhead stainless steel, all heavier than specified. Custom sound system with five pack CD player Too many features to list. Always garaged in climate-controlled environment"

...and that's it. Any insight on price or anyone interested in the car would help us out a lot. Thank you so much in advance!

Just an update... we are taking pictures this afternoon and hope to have them up tonight. More exciting news is that we found a binder with TONS of documentation including handwritten service notes with mileage from the date the car was purchased from the last owner in '88.

Pictures soon...
Sorry to hear about your father.
We are asking $90,000 O.B.O,
Good thing your only asking.

No need to be smug, there was a LOT of money put into this car and by cruising the net you can see it is one of the nicest out there. It is true we are only ASKING $90,000 and don't forget the blatant O.B.O.

Thanks for any interest..
