Hi Derek, I have been looking all over the world. The UK cars are quite expensive when you do the currency conversion as our dollar is about .41 against the pound however we have gained nearly 100% against the USD which is around .79 at the moment up from a low of .45 18 months ago. I am fairly handy at mechanical electrical and not to bad at rust and body work so the kind of thing I am after may require quite a bit of work. i would rather end up with something that I have restored than purchase a pristine one. That half the fun. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Max;

I print the UK Driver's Club magazine.

We run a for sale and wanted section. The next magazine is due out at the end of April. If you wish, I'll put a "wanted" ad in there for you.

Let me know if this is useful, and maybe give me the text you'd like to use and contact details.

It's surprising, but there are still cars out there waiting to be discovered. A friend and I have recently dug a '71 RHD pushbutton car out of a barn that hadn't moved since 1980 and believe it or not, it runs!

There's a fair bit to do on it, so we know how we'll be spending our evenings and weekends for the next couple of years.

Happy hunting!

Derek
