Super happy with how the gauge bracket JUST covers up the DIN (ish?) opening that was cut for the radio.
The nice green glow from the factory gauges is due to the Pantera Electronics gauge bulb upgrade (highly recommended!).
They'd probably fit the VDOs, I'll get some more!

I did the same thing with my radio cover plate area. In my opinion, three gauges there look better than a radio does.
Decided to re-do the gauge panel and angle them toward the driver.
Used these:

and a piece of 3/16 HDPE from TAP plastics.
It was quite tedious, took around 6 hours but I'm happy with how it turned out:
Very nice installation. I used that same space many years ago for the extra gauges that I wanted. I never could hear the radio in the car very well anyway.
