They have pins on the back that go through and come out on the other side. There are friction push nuts that slide over the pins. They can be hard to find because they are underneath the frame of the deck lid. You can feel for them, and use a small mirror. Once located, use a small screw driver and gently work the nuts off.

Thanks a ton for the help.

Where can I find  "friction push nuts" that will fit.

The scripts do not come with them

The PO used bits of rubber tubing to secure the script

Grateful as always

My plan is to respray the chrome insignia to Flat Black and reinstall them.

Any thoughts on prepping the chrome before spraying flat black

I used SEM Black Stain Trim Spray paint about 15 years ago on All the Chrome on My Car. Looks good to this day, and is easy to touch up if needed! First I taped off everything then clean and degrease everything! Went over everything with a Scotchbrite and Clean again. Two coats of SEM Black Primer, Two coat Black Stain! I did remove the Insignias to Paint.

The reason I am doing this is because after purchasing Black Insignia the paint started to chip and peel off even with a gentle touch during installation.

So now I will apply the Black finish to the chrome insignia.

If this works out I will also spray a new set of windshield wipers I have yet to purchase.

I don't know what it is with Pantera Owners but they seem to Hate Wind Shield Wipers and Sun Visors. ( Many photos support this )

Driver's Side  Visor and Passenger Side Windshield Wiper were missing when I purchased Pantera

Beautiful Lusso.

I love the Halibrand Style wheels.

What dimensions do the wheels have?

The Wheels are from Team 3 Wheels in San Leandro Calif. Model AC lll. With this Wheel your can get pretty much any back spacing. My Wheels are 17x8-18x11.

Mangusta...

I purchased 2 sets of Black Insignia...both black flat finishes began peeling off just from normal handling much less installation and on one set the tabs didn't line up with the existing holes.

I'm sorry to report that the chrome set is scheduled for a primer coat and Matte  Black finish after sanding during this down time
