I've seen both Carello and Altissimo lenses new in box at some U.S vendors. Are you sure OEMs are not still being made?

Not sure, but pretty darn sure.

There are reproductions in the Carrello style being made. I know these are the ones sold by most if not all vendors.

When viewed side-by-side, quality differences are apparent.

OEM of both makes are still to be found if you are diligent on eBay.

Wow... thanks for the feedback. Yes, I already talked to Roland as well as Willi but I'm a person who check all opportunities. The one I'm looking for are mounted on the black Alfa 2000. I had a chat with a friend who loves Maserati and may he can help. Masaerati rears are without chrome ring so I'm in between.

I was in contact with sev. dealers but most of them selling repros..

Anyway, I'm not under pressure and will continue with the search. There is a big part sale in my area in October so may this can be also an option.

So - fortunately I found a pair of Carello lenses incl. seals and housing for a fair price. Thank you all for help.
