Rebuilding Headlight motor

My 72 headlights are frozen. removing the assembly, I found a very stiff headlight motor. The gear assembly is fine. So I dismantled the motor. The front bearing is very stiff. There is a small cir-clip on the protuding end of the drive shaft. Put I am still unable to remove the shaft from the bearing. Anybody been here before?

Can't help much with rebuilding your motor, I got a brand new one from Marino at Pantera East. Direct bolt in works like a charm!! About $150, I think.
