Hey Richard,

Yes my black car was IMRON .. boat paint ,, very durable. Put the stripper on very very generously with a 4" wide brush ... then leave it for like 3-4 hours ...when you return everything should be lifted up ... be patient, if your doing the entire car you need like 6 gallons and a very good resperator.

Richard, I strip 'em all the time. YES aircraft stripper, put tape over the door jambs where they meet the quarter and fender to keep the stuff out of the doorjamb. I use a razor blade scraper, Put the new blade in it and scrape it across the winshield as if you were removing a sticker, (this will roll a little edge on the blade and keep it from digging in) The razor is your friend but don't let it scratch the metal. The kind of scratches I'm talking about are from the edge of the blade get a new one and start over.A lot of times it seems like you only get 1 coat at a time off..Bill ( I paint cars for a living) Gaino
