The wiring harness for my 72 Pre-L Pantera is now ready for installation.  The portion of the harness left of the red arrow had been lopped off and discarded by a prior owner when they were extracting it from the car.  As with most of our cars the harness had numerous additions and modifications.  It is now back to its original configuration.  Its restoration includes a Pantera Electronics ATO fuse panel and new protective loom.  The old factory loom had become rigid and cracked, and it has been replaced with braided split loom.  Wilkinson was kind enough to let me use his wiring harness table and various wiring supplies.  And Richard O. (opiecars here on the forum) supplied me with a donor harness that included the section that was missing.  I hope to have it installed in the car within a day or so.  The two illuminated bulbs are for the front side markers.

To the best of my knowledge the glass GBC style fuses shown in one of the above photos are no longer being manufactured.

to me they were always the superior GBC fuse. They are physically stronger and less prone to corrosion than the common plastic body utilizing a small external metal strip

You can still locate the glass fuses on eBay

AND..see the Pantera has all the old style wiring with lots of  links/wires go through the inition switch and relativelay thick wires as a result - less voltage drop besides amp max.

As you did go the tough route ALL OUT (which I did) you have lots of option to improve or

what you can GAIN are thinner wires as you  need  them just to drive control to the relais, light and motor front. Also the power window motors original is old design with weak magnets ( material comes from China - rare earth  ) I replaced motors by modern ones AND as they suck only 3..Amp max all the heavy wire comming  from the up down switchen can be replaced. They are thick and replacing gives you a much easier to bend loom..more option to set it up. And the newer  wires  coating is softer !!!

Well I also killed the extra fuses/box for the power window motors.

WARNING : if you replace any wire REPLACE IT BY SAME COLOR and make it 1/2 foot longer..all this worked for me did replace prob 500 Y of  new  wire. plus extra in engine bay  for pump, etc.

AND DOCUMENT on print outs of the impressive work by the nice work from Sobb (hope correct) and team.

Off the shelf, no vendor carries such an item as far as I know

Jon Haas of Pantera Electronics might build one. I think the cost would be prohibitive.

there is nothing inherently wrong with the Pantera wiring or the connectors that isn’t to be expected in any 50 year old wiring.

copper wire does not wear out, even after 50 years. The connectors may develop corrosion, especially those outside of the cabin. Attention to detail - especially opening, cleaning and tightly reassembling all ground connections -  and elbow grease is usually all that is needed to obtain a safe and functional wiring harness
