Today I received my newly manufactured RHD Steering Rack, for my 1973 LHD Pantera for my RHD conversion, from Titan in the UK.  I sent Titan my LHD steering rack so they could produce an identical rack, but in RHD.

I am very impressed with the quality and the action.  It is an excellent product.  I have advised Titan that in the event others wish to use this design to re-produce a RHD rack, then my plans are available to all Pantera owners to use with my general consent.

There's nothing like knowing your steering is secure, particularly when driving a 50 year old car with such power!

Hi Hemihunter, the company is called Titan.  They have a division specialising in the manufacture of race grade components.

The contact that handled my rack creation was Mr Brian Love.

The rack ends require slight modification, in that they need to be threaded a further 50mm and then trimmed by 50mm.   Titan did not have stock ends to suit the Pantera at the time.  Any good machine shop can undertake this task with confidence.  They have a standard 1/2" thread.

Kind regards,

Brendan Blake
