Scott, I didn't intend to cut you up and I am quite offended by your reply, I could have sent a private message but I don't hide and didn't think I would have to.
I have asked previously on this site and people have stepped in to purchase without any consideration to me! So, I am sorry but I wouldn't have the face to call anybody, especially publicly, after all it's down to the seller in the end and how do you know people have not messaged privately? So good luck in the purchase and for your information the best price I got last year for importing a pair from the states to the UK was $550 but I don't know the other way?

Richard, my apologies for offending you. I have had bad experiences like this on prior occasions and it really got to me. Again my apologies to you. I will let you know as soon as possible if this deal falls through for me as you are second if you still want them and they are still available.

Yes...I did see the same regarding the outer weights. Restoration to some degree will need to take place and being considered on how much I could spend for these rims. Considering shipping as well. May not work out, but will see.

FedEx's International Economy rate for $544 insured at $4000. This info was sourced by Rob Hudson for me when he was thinking of selling his wheels, hope this helps.

That sounds about right. I shipped to Canada two complete sets one with BFG 304 50 R15's palleted for $860+/- just this year. Fully insured. As I mentioned if these do not work for me it might work out for you being geographically closer. It might be an option to keep the set and tires together as well.
Thanks. Scott

Scott, did you see the earlier post by pantera74bills6974 saying he is selling a full set of 7s, 8s and 10s? He is based in the states.

Richard, I did see that. Did he send photos or link. Let me know your thoughts...maybe a good solution for us both to get full sets. Thanks

Did you find out what he wants for the wheels?

Hi Pantera74Bills,
Richard in the UK mentioned your thread. He and I are looking for a good set of wheels (10's). You have a set for sale. I am working on a set overseas and it might work out for all parties geographically. Can you email photos of your wheels and asking price? I can share them with Richard as well. thanks,
Scott

74Bills6976- I am not sure if you received my post. It appears that I keep replying to myself. Can you send photos of your 7,8 and 10's and price? I will keep Richard in the loop. He and I are trying to make this work for both of as he is in UK and me in US. I am working a deal in Europe...we might be able to work this out logistically better for all.
Thanks Scott. Please send info to

I would like to sell the 8's & 10's as a set. Based on what I have been reading....I think $4000.00 is a good starting place. I have had the same thing happen to me that PanteraDoug encountered. As soon as I started to change my car I had a lot of interest in my wheels and was offered quite a bit for them then. My thought at the time was to "save" them in case I wanted to change my car back to stock. Now....I doubt that will ever happen.
I would like to point out that the 15x10 wheels were only original on the European GTS cars. They are not original to any other model. A concours judge like me would know the difference. When I see 15x10 wheels the first thing I do is determine what type of Pantera I'm observing (based upon chassis number & other clues). If the car isn't a European GTS then the 15x10 wheels are a point against the car.

If the 15x10 wheels weren't original to your particular Pantera, then purchase a pair of reproductions from Mr. Fiat, paint them the proper color, nobody will know they are not original Campagnolo versions. The Mr. Fiat wheels can't possibly impact the value of your car any more than factory 15x10s would impact the value if they aren't the original size wheels. Non-original wheels are non-original wheels .... it doesn't matter if Campagnolo cast the wheels or if Ronin CNC'd the wheels.
